Fair and Transparent Refund Terms

1. Refund Eligibility

7-Day Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase if you are not satisfied with our AI legal services.

Usage Limitations

Refunds are available if you have used less than 20% of your subscription credits or consulted fewer than 5 legal questions with our AI assistant.

First-Time Subscribers

The 7-day refund policy applies only to first-time subscribers. Returning customers who have previously received refunds are not eligible.

2. Technical Issues & Service Disruptions

Service Outages

If our AI services are unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to technical issues, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or service extension.

Technical Defects

If you experience significant technical issues that prevent normal use of our services, we will work to resolve them or provide appropriate compensation.

Support Resolution

We encourage users to contact our support team first to resolve technical issues before requesting refunds. Many issues can be quickly resolved.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Used Services

Subscription services that have been substantially used (more than 20% of credits or 5+ consultations) are not eligible for refunds after the 7-day window.

Renewal Charges

Automatic renewal charges are non-refundable unless cancelled within 24 hours of the renewal date. You can cancel auto-renewal in your account settings.

Document Processing

Fees for document analysis, legal research reports, or custom AI consultations that have been delivered are non-refundable.

4. How to Request a Refund

Contact Support

Email our support team at refunds@xslawyer.com with your subscription details and reason for the refund request.

Required Information

Include your account email, subscription ID, purchase date, and a brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund.

Processing Time

Refund requests are typically processed within 3-5 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

5. Special Circumstances

Medical/Emergency

In cases of medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances, we may consider refund requests outside our standard policy on a case-by-case basis.

Fraud Protection

If unauthorized charges are made to your account, we will investigate and provide full refunds for verified fraudulent transactions.

Service Credits

Instead of monetary refunds, we may offer service credits, subscription extensions, or upgraded plans as alternative compensation options.

6. Cancellation vs Refund

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation does not automatically qualify you for a refund of current period charges.

End of Billing Period

Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to services during this time.

Reactivation

Cancelled subscriptions can be reactivated at any time. Previous usage history and preferences are preserved for your convenience.
